Στις αρχές του 17ου αιώνα εκδόθηκαν δυο μανιφέστα τα οποία, σε αντιστοιχία με τη μαγεία, την αλχημεία και την Καμπάλα, διακήρυσσαν τη χαραυγή μιας νέας περιόδου αυξημένων γνώσεων και δυνάμεων πάνω στη φύση.
