A shell-shocked chaplain stalks through the village with his three hounds in tow, like Fionn MacCool. Nurse ‘Mouse’ Walters is seduced by the bed-bound Brother Lane. Teresa and Dympna, two young ones on the tear in Dublin, get mixed up with Amantha who specializes in robbing sailors.
