Από αυτά, έχουν εκδοθεί στα γαλλικά ως τώρα μόνο τέσσερα: τα βιβλία Ι, ΙΙ, ΧΙ και ΧΧ, με πρώτο το βιβλίο ΧΙ, με το οποίο και εμείς αρχίζουμε. Αρχική μας σκέψη και φιλοδοξία ήτανε να δώσουμε στα ελληνικά ολόκληρο το "Σεμινάριο" του Λακάν, ακολουθώντας και εμείς τη σειρά της κυκλοφορίας των τίτλων στα γαλλικά.
