Η γνωριμία με την ποίηση του Ντύλαν Τόμας πηγαίνει μακριά πίσω στον χρόνο, όταν στην τελευταία τάξη του γυμνασίου βρέθηκα στο γνωστό σαν "πατάρι" καφενείο του Λουμίδη μαζί με μια παρέα συνομήλικων κοριτσιών που διάβαζαν ποίηση, κυρίως Ελύτη και Γκάτσο.
